Our Work Globally

Thanks to a generous donation by Ms. Madeline Cruise, and with the help of our long-time supporter, Ms. Miriam Mejia, Notes for Growth has expanded its Musical Instrument Project to the Dominican Republic.

This first contribution consisted of a beautiful Yamaha flute generously donated to Notes for Growth by Ms. Cruise, which was delivered in-person to the Banda y Academia de Música de Mao in the province of Valverde, Dominican Republic.

Notes for Growth is thrilled to contribute to the extraordinary work of this respectable institution. For many decades, the Banda y Academia de Música de Mao has offered free music education and helped transform the lives of hundreds of girls and boys. 

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the The Díaz Del Moral Foundation, an international organization that creates opportunities for Latinxs and minority communities by offering educational programs for low or no cost.

The Díaz Del Moral Foundation works to spotlight the vast and rich cultural importance of Latin American classical and folkloric musical heritage and innovation through various programs, such as the Puerto Rico Collaborative Piano Institute.
